What MY J:COM Adult is
MY J:COM Adult (MY J:COM アダルト on the masthead) is the adult-programming add-on of JCOM Co., Ltd., a Japanese cable and internet operator. It is not a stand-alone streaming site. The guide page states that watching adult content requires a J:COM TV or J:COM NET contract, so the first purchase is a cable or internet account, and the adult channels and packs are options added on top of it. Every page is in Japanese, and the footers name JCOM Co., Ltd. as the copyright holder. The operator's program guide gives the company's address as Toranomon Hills Business Tower in Minato, Tokyo.
The site's own description of itself covers four things: adult channels, discounted channel packs, on-demand adult video that starts whenever the viewer wants it, and pay-per-view. The pages never use the words censored or uncensored, so nothing on them says how the picture is treated. What they do say is that the Playboy Channel mixes selected overseas adult titles with the newest Japanese AV.
What it carries and how it is organized
The service has four layers, each described on the single guide page. The adult menu gives each of the three channels a page of its own, next to a J:COM STREAM page, an adult program schedule and the guide.
Three adult channels. The Playboy Channel (プレイボーイチャンネル), Red Cherry (レッドチェリー) and Midnight Blue (ミッドナイト・ブルー) are sold as option channels, each as a monthly subscription, and each is marked as recordable. The Playboy Channel is described as gathering beauties of the world, from selected overseas adult titles to the newest Japanese AV. Red Cherry is described as planned and concept titles in every genre, with seasonal picks added every month. Midnight Blue is described as covering popular actresses, planned titles, and married women and mature women. These are the page's own one-line descriptions, and no performer or label names appear on the guide.
Channel sets. The Playboy and Red Set bundles those two channels at one monthly price, and the page presents it as cheaper than taking the two separately. The guide notes that this set is not offered in part of the Kansai region and lists the unserved areas as the Osaka Central, Higashi-Osaka, Takatsuki, Kita-Kawachi and Kyoto Miyabijion areas. The Deluxe Adult Set adds J:COM STREAM adult titles to the three channels: the page words it as a total of 27 titles on an unlimited basis, including 9 new J:COM STREAM (Adult) titles selected every month.
J:COM STREAM, the on-demand side. The page describes it with three promises: watch at any hour of the day, watch repeatedly inside the viewing period, and nothing to return and no late fees. It has two unlimited offers. The first is called Unlimited (Adult), updated with 4 titles every week, and it costs nothing extra for members of the J:COM STREAM unlimited plan and for J:COM TV Shin Standard and Shin Standard Plus customers. The second is a separate paid pack called Adult Unlimited 120, which the page describes as 120 selected titles available at any time, with 60 of them refreshed on the 1st of every month.
Single videos. Individual titles can be bought from one title upward. The page says that the pricing differs by title, some being rentals and some sold to keep, and it links to a separate viewing site. No title code search, performer search or label index appears on the adult pages.
Around the guide sit J:COM's general TV listings. The program guide has an adult genre among its genre filters and a display setting for adult programs, and the Fun! J:COM portal lists adult in its genre row. The program guide describes itself as covering terrestrial, BS, BS 4K and cable specialty channels and as free to use from a PC, smartphone or tablet. Its member menu includes remote recording reservations, favorite channels, a watch list and program reminder mail. Those are general cable listings that include the adult genre, and they carry no adult pricing of their own.
Japan mechanics
Everything about access is framed around a Japanese household. The program guide asks for a prefecture and municipality and lists Japan's prefectures region by region, and the TV courses it filters by are J:COM's own plans. The pages say nothing about customers outside Japan. The age gate on the adult program pages asks whether the visitor is 18 or older and warns that giving a false age may break the laws of the visitor's own country or region, but it does not say the service is offered abroad.
There is no English interface, English support or subtitle information on any of these pages. Customer support runs through a J:COM support site organized around TV, internet, mobile, landline, electricity and similar home services, again in Japanese.
The guide makes privacy inside the home a selling point. Orders are placed with the TV remote or from a PC, which the page describes as applying without being seen by anyone. No confirmation call is made to the home, and no adult-related direct mail is sent. The one stated exception is applications made through the J:COM website or Fun! J:COM when the content of the order is unclear, where a phone call may be made. Invoices carry no word for adult: the page shows the Playboy and Red Set billed as プレイボーイ・レッド, the Deluxe Adult Set as デラックスセット and the Adult Unlimited 120 as 見放題120!!.
A parental lock is the other household control. The guide says a PIN can be required before adult titles play and that the viewing-age limit is set and changed with the remote alone, with steps that differ by tuner model. Unless the customer has changed it, the PIN starts as 0000, and a customer who forgets it is told to phone the customer center.
Price, access and billing
The money buys three different things. A channel or set is a monthly option on the TV. The FAQ says option channels can be recorded depending on the program, and that a J:COM HDR or Blu-ray HDR recorder does it with one touch from the electronic program guide. The unlimited pack and J:COM STREAM are streaming and cannot be recorded. Single videos are bought or rented per title.
Asked whether there is a minimum term, the FAQ answers that the adult option channels and the J:COM STREAM adult unlimited pack can be contracted by the month. Option channels are added and canceled in J:COM My Page. The guide gives no refund terms, no trial and no payment methods. What it does show is that the charges appear on the J:COM invoice. The J:COM support site has sections for fees and payment and for suspension and cancellation of the main contract.
In October 2026 the guide page lists each of the three channels at 2,300 yen a month (2,530 yen with tax). For the same month, the Playboy and Red Set is 2,500 yen (2,750 yen with tax), the Deluxe Adult Set is 3,900 yen (4,290 yen with tax), and the Adult Unlimited 120 pack is 2,500 yen (2,750 yen with tax). Per-title prices are not printed on these pages.
Who it suits
This fits someone who already lives in a J:COM service area, holds or is willing to hold a J:COM TV or internet contract, reads Japanese, and wants adult channels that can be recorded on a J:COM recorder, ordered from the remote and billed on an invoice that does not name the category. The three-channel set and the 120-title pack give two different shapes of monthly subscription: scheduled channels with a small on-demand allowance, or on-demand titles alone. A household that already has the J:COM STREAM unlimited plan or a Shin Standard TV course gets the weekly Unlimited (Adult) updates without paying more.
It does not suit a reader outside Japan or one who reads no Japanese, because the whole service hangs on a Japanese cable or internet contract. A viewer who chooses by performer or label will also find little to go on, since the guide describes its channels only by theme.
