What Japanboyz is
Japanboyz is an English-language membership site for gay Japanese video, in business, by its own account, since 2003. It is a studio and not a store: the home page says the site scouts locations around Japan and films the performers there, and the scenes are sold directly through the site. The join page lists two companies with addresses and support contacts, WebMediaProz LLC of Las Vegas, Nevada and Modburst Limited of Limassol, Cyprus, next to its 18 U.S.C. 2257 compliance link. The page title calls the output uncensored, and the site's own story explains why: it says it started in summer 2003 because it was disappointed with Japanese DVDs that cost a lot and contained what it calls annoying mosaics. Everything is in English, from the menus and tags to the checkout.
The site describes its content as gay throughout, in its own words gay Japanese porn, and it calls itself the largest gay Asian porn community. Its page title claims an all-Japanese cast, although the tag list also carries entries such as Interracial, European and Latino.
What it carries and how it is organized
The home page counts the archive at 2274 scenes and 179470 photos; these are the site's own figures. New scenes arrive weekly: the latest-updates list shows dates a week apart, from 09 Oct 26 back through 02 Oct, 25 Sep, 18 Sep and 11 Sep, and the page says new gay Japanese video appears every single week of the year. Each scene entry carries a title, a release date, a percentage rating, sometimes a count and a running time; the newest scene is listed at 23:00 and one August scene at 51:15. A three-part series called Orgy In The Office appears in the list across June and July, and Pink Night Makeout sits among the recent scenes. Older tag pages show other numbered series, Dirty Dares Part Six and G1 Gay Grand Prix-Round1 among them.
The menu is short: Scenes, Photos, Models, Tags, Webcams, a Bonus section, Log In and a search box. Photos is a list of galleries named after scenes. Models has a list of the latest and the most popular performers, with names such as Fuji, Takumi and Yusaku among the popular ones. Tags is the main way to move around, and the tag list is long. It runs from fitness, massage, sportsmen and swimmers to bondage, leather, jockstraps, tattoo and underwear themes, and includes POV, solo, group, toys, interviews, behind-the-scenes and parody groupings, plus a tag for bonus content. Individual tag pages sort by newest, oldest, popular or alphabetical order in either direction, and they page through the results; the page numbers of the Anal tag run up to 49, those of the Solo tag up to 20.
The tag pages show how far back the archive reaches. The Tour Model Profile tag holds scenes dated from 25 Jun 07 to 31 Jul 09, the first page of the Toys tag runs from 18 Apr 25 back to 11 Dec 15 with more pages behind it, and the first page of the Solo tag runs from 05 Jun 26 back to 28 Dec 20. The Solo tag doubles as an introduction shelf, with many scenes titled as a first meeting with a named performer. Some tags are very small: the POV tag lists a single scene, dated 23 May 25, the Spit tag one from 20 Mar 26 and the Feet tag two. The result is a back catalog that spans many years and not a window of recent clips.
The site describes its approach in plain words. It says it scouts locations around Japan, naming dojos, ryokan inns, hot springs and the beach, and lists the kinds of material it films: bondage, foot play and public sex among them. Nothing on the pages ties the studio to a Japanese label or store, and it does not point to any outside shop for its titles; membership is sold on its own join page.
Around the catalog sit an Affiliates program, a Modeling page for would-be performers, Terms and Privacy pages, a Complaint and Content Removal Policy and a newsletter signup that asks for a name and an email address. The Webcams entry in the menu comes without detail on how it works or what it costs.
Japan mechanics: censorship, language, region
Japanboyz films in Japan and sells from abroad: the two companies on its join page are in the United States and Cyprus. The site markets the output as uncensored, in its page titles and in its description of itself, and presents the lack of mosaics as the reason it exists. It adds no notice for visitors in Japan. The pages publish no region lock, no list of excluded countries and no overseas-access statement. The entrance says the visitor must be over 18, and a compliance statement under 18 U.S.C. 2257 is linked from every page.
Language is the easy part: the whole site, the signup form and the footer are in English, and nothing is offered in Japanese. The signup page lists a telephone number and a support email for each company, but the pages do not say at what hours support answers. They direct billing questions and cancellations to two named authorized sales agents, Webmediaproz and Epoch, and not to a form on the site itself.
Price, access and billing
Every plan on the join page carries a cap on downloads per 30 days. The page offers five plans: one month, three months, two one-year options and a one-time lifetime plan. The one-month and three-month plans allow 10 downloads per 30 days, and the year and lifetime plans allow 15. The page footnotes that a trial membership is limited to the 6 latest updates and is streaming only, but it shows no separate trial plan, so the trial terms are not spelled out. Monthly memberships are stated to renew automatically until canceled, and the one-year plans are billed yearly in a single payment.
In October 2026 the signup page lists one month at $28.96 billed every 30 days, three months at $59.84 billed every 90 days, a one-year special billed as a single $99 payment and a lifetime plan at $349 paid once. The second one-year plan, at $119.95, carries the page's Best Deal label, and the three-month plan is marked as a saving.
Payment options on the form are Card Payment, Epoch and PayPal. The page does not list card brands, so whether a card issued outside the United States works is not stated. The statement name is given as Modburst Ltd, Webmediaproz LLC or EPOCH.COM *webmediapr. A terms checkbox has to be ticked before paying, and the signup page itself states no refund terms and shows no self-service cancellation tool.
Who it suits
Japanboyz suits an English reader who wants a long-running gay Japanese studio in one place, with weekly updates, a deep tag archive and a PayPal route. It also suits someone who prefers an English-only checkout to a Japanese-language join page. It is a weaker fit for a reader who wants a catalog of mixed Japanese labels, who needs stated refund terms or who wants downloads without a monthly limit.
