What the site is
JAV ACTRESS SEARCH (AV女優検索) is a database of adult video performers and the releases they appear in, at avsrch.com. Its tagline, AV女優&エロ動画が探せるデータベース, describes a database for finding AV performers and adult videos. Nothing is sold or streamed in full here, and the terms say so directly: the site sells no products or services and supplies information under contracts with its affiliate partners. The footer reads "Powered by FANZA Webサービス / DUGAウェブサービス", and the terms name FANZA, MGS, DUGA and Sokumiru (ソクミル) as the affiliate programs it uses.
The interface is Japanese. One English-language aid sits in the search panel: a line headed "for English readers" that points to an English-Japanese cheat sheet for search terms, with the example gonzo mapped to its Japanese keyword. A single administrator writing under a pen name signs the About page, dated 20 April 2025. No company and no country are named, and censorship is not a subject the site raises about the video behind its links.
A reader who stops here should know that this is a free lookup tool in Japanese, built on store data, that sends purchases and full-length viewing to the stores.
What it carries and how it is organized
The About page describes two parts: a performer database and a video database. The performer database is the front door. The home page and every inner page carry the same search panel, whose heading (スリーサイズ+αでAV女優を検索) promises a search by measurements and more. It has slider filters for age, measurements and height, plus a filter for place of origin that covers every Japanese prefecture and a handful of other Asian regions. The panel gives 2 sample searches, one for a performer of a given age and one for a given cup size, and says that searching with the fields left empty shows every performer registered in the database. The panel states 59,926 performers as the current total. The performer list page is headed with the same figure, can be sorted by kana order, age, height and the measurement fields, and shows 20, 50, 100 or 200 entries per page. Many entries in the list show the name and a "NO SHOT" placeholder where a photo would go.
Performers can also be found by name, by the hiragana reading of the name, by its first kana, or by attribute tags. The attribute section is marked as still being filled in (鋭意登録中) and lists a few tags such as gal and tattoo. The About page adds that former-idol and gal attributes and a queen-type tag exist alongside the body-size filters, and that a favorite performer's appearances can be checked in one place.
The video database is searched by free words. The search box takes several words separated by a half-width space and treats them as an AND search. The works list is headed エロ動画 (adult videos) with a count of 196,382 titles, while the page title gives 202,692 entries, and at 20 entries per page its pagination runs to page 9,820. Each entry on that list carries the FANZA product number, the title, maker (メーカー), label (レーベル), series, performers, director and release date. The makers and labels named on the title pages include Idea Pocket (アイデアポケット), MOODYZ (ムーディーズ, label MOODYZ DIVA), S1 No.1 Style (エスワン ナンバーワンスタイル, label S1 NO.1 STYLE), kawaii and Fitch, and the works list adds VR makers such as the one behind the KMPVR label and unfinished (label Marrion Group VR). VR titles are marked with a 【VR】 prefix on the list, and many carry 【8K】 in the title. The About page explains the point of all this tagging: genre, maker, label, series and director are attached to each video so that a visitor can pull in other works of the same kind.
A new-release calendar sits in the search panel. It shows 3 months at a time (September, October and November 2026), with a count against each day, and notes that it lists the latest releases or newly started streams. One line on the home page says that video data with defects is being loaded again (不具合あり動画データ再アップ中), which tells a reader that some entries may be incomplete while that work goes on. A birthday block lists performers whose birthday is today, with their number beside the heading, and a block of newcomers follows the search panel.
A title page holds the release date, maker, label, series, director, running time, FANZA product number, a starting price, a score with review count where reviews exist, a list of performers, genre tags and a list of other titles in the same series. The genre tags include format flags such as 4K, high definition (ハイビジョン), exclusive distribution (独占配信) and single-performer title (単体作品). The title page also has 2 buttons for the next step: free sample playback (無料サンプル再生) and a link to check the details at FANZA (FANZAで詳細確認), along with a share button for X and a favorite button. Below sits a comment form that asks readers to report broken video links, missing images, wrong data, and performer information for titles listed as amateur. The form notes that the email address entered is not published.
Japan mechanics
The site names its sources: performer and video information is supplied by video distribution sites that run paid services, and the site itself is free to use. The sample videos it introduces are also free to watch, according to the About page. The affiliate arrangement is stated twice, in the footer notice that the site uses affiliate advertising and in the terms that name the programs. The terms also tell readers that buying or registering at the partner sites is their own responsibility, and that the site has no part in what linked sites contain.
For a reader outside Japan the site settles little, since buying, regional access and card acceptance all sit with the partner stores and the site leaves those matters to them. English help stops at the cheat sheet link; contact runs through an X account and a mail form. The terms set an age floor of 18: only people 18 or older may browse the site or register for the favorites feature. The comment rules ban unlawful material, advertising and spam, and let the administrator delete comments or registrations that break them.
Price and access
Using the site costs nothing according to the About page, which also says that watching the sample videos is free. The only account feature is the favorites function, available after registering and logging in; a registered user manages an email address or user ID with a password, and the terms let the administrator delete registrations that use spam-domain addresses or impersonate someone. A registered user also gets a personal page (マイページ). Purchases happen at the partner stores, under the stores' own terms. The terms of use are dated 1 May 2025, with a revision on 13 October 2025, and reserve the right to change without notice.
Each title page shows a starting price for the store listing, printed with a trailing tilde. In October 2026 the title pages list ¥2180~ on several titles released that month, including a 145-minute kawaii debut and a 153-minute MOODYZ DIVA title, and ¥2480~ on a 143-minute Idea Pocket title and a 180-minute S1 title. The field is a bare from-price: it carries no upper figure and no tax wording, and it does not separate streaming from download.
Who it suits
It suits a reader who can handle Japanese pages and who wants to find a performer by profile ranges, check a release calendar by day, or see which maker and label a title belongs to before going to a store. The English cheat sheet is a pointer for someone who knows an English term and needs the Japanese keyword to search with. Free sample playback makes it a handy first step before paying anywhere.
It is a weak fit for anyone who needs an English interface or wants a named company behind the service. The site plays no full-length video, depends on the partner stores for its data, and says some video data is being reloaded. The About page describes both databases as always being updated and asks readers to send corrections, especially for active performers.
