What MOCOM is
MOCOM (モコム) is a smartphone-only adult video chat service. Its landing page calls it a video chat service for video calls, voice calls and messaging with women across Japan, and its page titles call it one of the largest in the mobile live chat business (モバイルライブチャット業界最大級). The operator is 株式会社リアズ, based in Osaka, and the terms of use were enacted in 2008 and last revised in November 2015. The whole site is in Japanese. The landing page tells visitors the service is smartphone-only and points them to a QR code to open it on a phone.
Unlike a room-based live cam site, MOCOM works like a messaging app with paid calls. Its play guide has 3 steps: find a woman, send her a message inviting a video call, then tap the video call button on her profile and wait for the connection. The landing page claims more than 2,000 women waiting for calls each day and more than 160,000 registered women; both are the site's own marketing figures. It describes them as women from around the country who otherwise live as office workers, models, apparel shop staff or former cabin attendants. The terms call these women chat ladies, meaning real registered women who earn an incentive for each service they give, and say each one submitted a public ID document that confirmed she is 18 or older before taking part.
What it carries and how it is organized
The service is built from a few parts. Voice and video calls are the main product. A message system sits beside them, and a message can carry an attached image or video, which is how members request and receive self-shot photos and clips. An image and video bulletin board, with a ranking of popular posts, lets a member browse popular posts by ranking or the posts of women he follows. A personal-item shop, called Mocofuri (モコフリ), sells clothing the women normally wear, bought through the site. Each woman has a blog and a profile, and the landing page urges members to follow a woman they like. The site also runs seasonal cosplay events and call-discount events. The terms define the whole service as one for posting and sharing video, images and text, and they reserve the right to change or drop any part of it without notice and to close the site on at least 1 month's notice.
Finding someone happens through a list of women who are online. The sample cards on the public page show a prefecture and an occupation label such as office worker, nurse, civil servant or model, plus a tag (今すぐ話せる) for women who are free to talk at that moment. The page says the women are available around the clock, every day of the year. Profile cards are blurred on the public landing page so the women cannot be identified, and the page states there is no blur inside the site.
The landing page lists the protections it offers. Telephone numbers and e-mail addresses stay private. The site says it monitors around the clock for users who steer others to outside services such as LINE, fraud operators, decoys and meeting solicitations. Women who can send messages and place calls must have passed identity review with a public ID. The terms add that the service is for talking online and does not arrange meetings, dates or relationships, so posting information that invites meetings is banned and the staff delete it; pressing someone to meet or digging for personal details is on the list of prohibited acts, as are advertising and commercial use. A separate complaint policy (苦情対応ポリシー) says the company sells only content whose participants are adults who agreed to appear, looks into third-party complaints promptly and deletes content found to breach the policy. When a participant disputes having agreed, the policy says the item is taken off view and sale until agreement is confirmed.
The Japan mechanics
The legal notice names the operator and its Osaka address and lists three notifications: a video-transmission special business (映像送信型風俗特殊営業) notification, number 45087, a no-premises telephone introduction business notification (無店舗型電話異性紹介営業), number 45090, and a no-premises sex-related special business notification, number 44539. The first two are repeated in the footer of every page. The same notice describes the business as providing and running a communication service over the internet and takes inquiries through a contact form during the hours it prints as 9時~18時 (9 to 18 o'clock).
The pages do not state whether the service is censored or uncensored; it is a person-to-person call service rather than a library of releases. Language is Japanese only: the interface, terms, help questions and payment pages are all Japanese, and no English option, English support or subtitle feature is mentioned.
No page addresses customers outside Japan: there is no region notice and no list of accepted countries. The terms ban acts that violate Japanese law. Registration is approved by the company after review, which the terms say it need not explain, and the age rule is stricter than a simple 18+: people under 18, and people who had not turned 18 by April 1 of the year, cannot register. A member paying by bank transfer must also show a public ID that proves he is 18 or older. Data charges for calls are the member's own cost.
Price, access and billing
Registration is free and the site gives free points on sign-up, and says it is possible to play without buying points. After that the model is prepaid points with no subscription. The FAQ says there are no later invoices: a call is cut off the moment points run short. Purchased points are valid for 6 months counting the day of purchase, the company may close an account that has not logged in for 6 months or take back its points without the member's agreement, and leaving the service erases unused points. Points are not refunded or converted back to money, and a withdrawal request is refused while any fee is unpaid. The prepaid-instrument notice sets no upper limit on how many points a member can hold, and the terms put taxes and bank transfer fees on the member.
The legal notice lists these payment methods: credit card, bank transfer through Japan Post Bank or other banks, Security Money, BitCash, G-MONEY, C-CHECK, Convenience Direct and Paidy pay-later. The landing page says statements do not show the site's name. No card brand is named, and nothing says whether a card issued abroad works. Balance is shown on the My Page screen after login.
The price table is on the landing page, and in October 2026 it read as follows. One yen buys 0.75 points, written as 1円=0.75pts. A voice call costs 200pts per minute and a video call 250pts per minute. A plain text message costs the sender 80pts and is free to receive. Messages with an attached image or video cost more, charged to both the sender and the receiver, with video the dearer. Viewing profiles and posting to a blog are free.
Who it suits
MOCOM suits a Japanese reader who wants one-to-one calls with registered amateur women on a phone, prefers a message-first approach to a crowded room, and is happy to pay through a Japanese payment channel. The price table is short, and the rules on identity checks and monitoring are spelled out.
It does not suit a reader without a smartphone or Japanese, or anyone who needs a stated route for paying from abroad. The 6-month point life is worth noting before buying a large block, and so is the approval review that stands between an application and membership.
