What AV-Channel is

AV-Channel (AVチャンネル) is a Japanese adult video site that sells in a pair of ways. The first is pay-per-view (PPV), where each title is chosen and bought on its own. The other is a set of flat-rate channels, called 定額動画, that give unlimited viewing of a channel group's whole catalog for a fixed 30-day period. The site describes itself as an adult content distribution site that has filed its notification under the amended Adult Entertainment Business Act (改正風営法届出済み), and says customer data travels over 256-bit SSL.

Everything on it is in Japanese. The plan page and the channel pages name no operating company: they carry a copyright line for AV-Channel running from 2002 to 2025, and footer links to a commercial-transactions disclosure, the terms of use and a notice under the payment services law. Neither page has a line on mosaic, so the site's own treatment of its video goes unstated there.

What it carries and how it is organized

The top bar splits the site into PPV video, flat-rate video and e-comics, with a cart, a My List, a usage guide and a help section beside them. The whole video catalog is then split into styles (スタイル), and each style exists both as a PPV shelf and as a flat-rate channel group. They are Standard (スタンダード), Maniacs (マニアックス), Mature Premium (熟女プレミアム), Playism (プレイズム) and Wakeari videos (ワケアリ動画). The style index is the clearest map of what the site is.

Standard is the mainstream shelf and is browsed by type: actress titles, big-bust titles, madam (マダム) titles, vintage titles, clothed erotica (着エロ), cosplay, lesbian, variety-style productions, street pickup shows, SM and pink movies. Maniacs is the niche shelf, with lines for big-bust and plus-size titles, amateurs, fetish, newhalf (ニューハーフ), foreign women and what the menu calls abnormal titles. Playism is organized by what happens in the video instead of by who is in it: story play, fantasy play, female-led play, orgasm-focused play, sex-work settings, lesbian and fetish play, and cosplay. Wakeari is a set of small channels, among them 蔵出し映像 (archive footage), 熟蜜のヒミツ, 俺の素人 (My Amateur) and 応募即撮りH系.

Mature Premium is the flat-rate group whose plan page states a price. Its own blurb calls it a mature-only style for mature-video fans, covering every age band from women in their thirties to women past sixty, and the page's description says the line-up is drawn from well-known AV makers and runs from popular actresses to amateur wives. It splits into 7 channels: women in their early 30s, late 30s, 40s and 50s, a kanreki channel (還暦熟女), a cross-generation channel (世代を超えた熟女たち), and compilations (熟女総集編). The plan page claims more than 18,000 titles on offer and says all 7 channels are included in the one monthly ticket. That count is the site's own claim. Some compilation titles carry a running time of 4 or 5 hours in the name. The latest-titles list on the plan page tags each row with its channel and a date, says those titles are viewable once the monthly ticket is bought, and runs over several pages; its top rows are dated 10/11, 10/10 and 10/09. Beside it sit a weekly video ranking and a weekly actress ranking, each a list of 10 built from data for 2026/10/03 to 2026/10/10, and a link to a list of themed features for the group.

Finding things works through several indexes. A visitor can go by new arrivals, maker list, actress list, genre list, ranking, or a broadcast schedule (配信番組表) that shows what arrives when, and the flat-rate side and the PPV side each have their own schedule, ranking and new-arrivals list. Performers can be searched by style or by name in Japanese syllabary order, and actresses who work under several names are shown with the other names in parentheses. A channel's performer list shows how this works in practice: the list for the clothed-erotica channel holds 1721 performers, shows 50 to a page, sorts by newest, by popularity or by number of appearances, and puts each performer's count of titles in that channel beside the name. On the PPV side, the shelf can be filtered to new releases, near-new titles (準新作), titles popular over the past 7 days, HD titles and multi-device titles, and it has its own maker, genre and actress lists. The footer also lists a section of low-priced single titles, a monthly section sold channel by channel beside the style-wide monthly one, and a page of PPV features.

For a reader coming from the streaming-subscription side, the relevant product is the flat-rate ticket. The Mature Premium page prices only its own ticket. The other styles appear in the list of flat-rate styles as well, without a price there.

Japan mechanics

The compliance statement on these pages is the notification under the amended entertainment business law, placed under a heading about security next to the SSL line. The pages carry no region notice and no sentence about customers outside Japan, and the interface, the plan description and the support menu are Japanese only.

Devices are stated plainly. The site says its videos play on Windows and Mac computers and on iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, and it pitches this as watching anywhere, at home or away. A marked subset of titles is labeled multi-device, with its own list on both the flat-rate and the PPV side. A separate player has its own support contact (AVCプレイヤー), and the support menu links to help pages, an inquiry form and a password reset. The site also points to an official Twitter account.

The payment block lists credit cards of various kinds, convenience-store payment, which it announces as newly added, bank transfer through Pay-easy and electronic money, without naming card brands or processors. Nothing there addresses cards issued outside Japan. The site also gives out its own points, called money points (マネーポイント), which the block says can be spent on buying titles. The terms for those points sit on a separate service-points page.

Price, access and billing

A flat-rate ticket gives access to every title in that channel group, with no per-title charge, for 30 days. The page counts the 30 days from the day of registration, and gives an example: registering on 1 February in a year that is not a leap year allows viewing until 00:00 on 3 March. Whether the ticket renews on its own, and how a renewal would be stopped, is left unsaid on the plan page, as are refunds. PPV works the other way: pick a title, buy it, and pay once. The plan page shows no PPV prices.

In October 2026 the Mature Premium page listed a single plan, 3,000 yen including tax for 30 days, under the heading 熟女プレミアム月額. The same page repeats that figure as 30 days for 3,000 yen with unlimited viewing. The footer also carries a 100円動画 (100-yen video) section.

Who it suits

AV-Channel suits a viewer who wants one flat fee for a large mature-women catalog and can read Japanese menus, or who wants to browse Japanese adult video by style and by what happens in the title. Someone who prefers pay-per-title buying has the PPV shelves for that, and a viewer who follows performers has name search, appearance counts and a weekly ranking to work from. It suits worse a reader who needs an English storefront or wants to see the renewal and cancellation terms before opening the checkout. The prices for the other styles also have to be found on their own pages.
