What Materiall is

Materiall (マテリオル, billed on the masthead as AVメーカー・マテリオル, the AV maker Materiall) is a Japanese adult video maker with its own release site. Its page description carries the maker's tagline, 本当にエロいのは、いつだって本性むき出しのオンナ。, which puts the appeal in women showing their true nature, and signs off with 素顔のエロスMateriall. The site is in Japanese only, opens on an 18-and-over question before anything else, and carries the line that all performers in its works are 18 or older (作品の出演女優は全て18歳以上です). Its copyright line reads "© 2021-2024 Materiall" on the entry panel and "© 2021 Materiall" in the footer. No company name, address or country appears; the entry panel speaks only of 弊社 (the company) when it disclaims responsibility.

No video is streamed or sold on materiall.jp. Every title tile on it ends in two buttons, FANZA で視聴 (watch on FANZA) and HNEXT で視聴 (watch on H-NEXT), and the home page news items close with a line asking visitors to check each site (各サイト) for the new release. In short, Materiall is a maker that publishes a release calendar and sends the viewer to two services, and it is the H-NEXT subscription that the site itself recommends for watching its newest work.

Mosaic is the one basic the maker leaves unaddressed. Video sold in Japan is mosaic-censored.

What it carries and how it is organized

The menu has home (ホーム), works list (作品一覧), tag list (作品タグ一覧, listed in English as Search), news (ニュース), contact and privacy policy, and the footer adds a standing link to the H-NEXT viewing guide (HNEXTでの視聴方法). The home page stacks a short list of the newest streaming starts, a Coming Soon block for titles open for reservation (予約開始作品), a New Release block (最新作品) and the news column. The works list runs newest first and its pager shows 15 pages. Each tile shows the title, any performers named on it and two dated buttons. The FANZA button is labeled 予約開始 (reservations open) and the H-NEXT button 配信開始 (streaming starts). On the older tiles the two dates differ. One title shows reservations opening on 7/21 and streaming on 8/17, another 6/24 and 7/17, another 5/26 and 6/19. On the newest tiles the two dates fall on the same day, for instance 6/25 for both. The site states that the streaming start dates printed on it are the H-NEXT dates (配信開始日は、H-NEXTでの配信開始日).

The recent catalog is dominated by 福袋 (fukubukuro, a lucky bag) releases, which are compilation sets sold as one long uncut program (ノーカット). Their titles state their running time in minutes and often in hours as well. One set runs 1114分, 18 hours. Another is 1291分, 21 hours, built around the performer 西條るり. A third is 1020分, 17 hours, with 松本いちか among three named performers. A set billed as 4K shooting (4K撮影特集) packs 8 works into 1102分, 18 hours. The performer 松本菜奈実 has two sets of her own, one of 854分 and one of 541分, billed at about 14 and 9 hours. Two further sets of 1060分 and 1237分 gather many named performers under a single title. Below the sets sit single-title releases, most with one named performer and one with a large cast listed under a single title.

The news column logs each release with the same sentence, Materiall(マテリオル)新作動画1作品 の新作動画配信を開始いたしました! (streaming of 1 new Materiall title has begun), followed by a link to the title's own introduction page (作品紹介ページへ). The three entries shown are dated 2026.06.26, 2026.03.26 and 2026.02.26 and carry the product codes MTAFB-008, MTAFB-007 and MTAFB-006, so the sets are numbered in sequence. The home page also embeds the maker's social feed, a timeline from the account Materiallkouhou plus an Instagram follow link, where performer announcements for streaming and DVD releases (配信&DVD) are posted. DVD is mentioned there beside streaming, but the site itself links out only to FANZA and H-NEXT.

The menu has no label, series or performer sections. A visitor browses the paged list, or uses the tag list, and follows the buttons out. The only label named behind the titles is Materiall.

The Japan mechanics: H-NEXT and FANZA

The most useful page for a reader outside Japan is the one titled HNEXTでのMateriall視聴方法, the guide to watching Materiall on H-NEXT. It says the newest Materiall work is available on H-NEXT, which it recommends as the first place to see it. It separates two access modes. PPV (pay per view) means each title is charged when it is watched. 見放題 (unlimited viewing) means the title is included for anyone who holds an H-NEXT monthly plan or has applied a viewing code. The page states that H-NEXT is a service provided by U-NEXT Co., Ltd. (株式会社U-NEXT), the only company the maker's pages name.

The guide and the title lists are written for a domestic audience. Overseas access and accepted countries go unmentioned for both services, and the pages do not mention subtitles or English support. The one support route on the site is a contact link (お問い合わせ) in the menu and footer.

Price, access and billing

The pricing in the H-NEXT guide belongs to a third-party service, and the page dates it itself: a note under the table reads 上記は2020年10月時点の情報です, meaning the figures above are as of October 2020. The yen amounts in that table are therefore old by the page's own account, and the durable part is the structure.

What the table describes is a two-column comparison. One column is a monthly plan, which the table says comes with points granted each month, with the latest releases needing extra payment on top. The other column is a viewing code, sold in 30-day, 90-day and 180-day lengths. The table also lists a first-time trial of 31 days (31日間無料トライアル) with bonus points. It gives an unlimited-viewing catalog claim of more than 40,000 adult titles (アダルト:4万本以上) in each column, with a note attached to the second column's count that works from the Soft On Demand group (ソフトオンデマンドグループ) are outside it. It adds that 114 or more magazines can be read in the plan. Payment methods are listed in two sets: credit card, carrier billing, Apple ID and a gift code or U-NEXT card, then credit card and Amazon gift voucher. Devices are TV, smartphone and tablet, game consoles and PC. Foreign-issued cards and cancellation steps are not covered by the table, although its recommendation list does include people who worry about forgetting to cancel.

On FANZA the maker's pages give one fact, the date reservations open. Prices and payment for FANZA are FANZA's to state.

Who it suits

Materiall suits a viewer who wants one maker's long compilation programs, who reads enough Japanese to use H-NEXT's sign-up, and who already holds, or is willing to open, an H-NEXT subscription. The uncut sets mean a single title can run most of a day. It does not suit someone who needs English anywhere in the chain, who wants a plain price list on the maker's own site, or who wants to know before joining whether a foreign card or an overseas address will be accepted. The H-NEXT figures are dated 2020 by the page, so the terms in force are the ones on H-NEXT itself.
