What SILK LABO is
SILK LABO (シルクラボ) is a Japanese adult video label that makes its titles for women. Its masthead reads 女性による、女性のための性の研究所, a sexuality research lab run by women for women, and the home page's own description calls it a project in which women come together to support a richer love life for women. The site is the label's home: a showcase of its releases, an event and news hub, and a mail-order shop for its DVDs and download titles. The shop terms are issued by Soft On Demand (ソフト・オン・デマンド株式会社), which those terms name as the company running the site, and the copyright line on every page reads SILK LABO Co.,Ltd. Every page is in Japanese, and none of them says whether the video carries a mosaic.
The label's male performers are billed as EROMEN (エロメン), and the same description calls this the official EROMEN site. Titles are framed as romance stories, with premises such as a first date at his place, a morning after, or a partner who gets jealous.
What it carries and how it is organized
The label divides its work into product lines, each with its own list page: SILK, COCOON, UNDRESS and VR. They sit in the top menu beside ABOUT, EVENT, WORKS, Body Talk, GOODS, ACTOR, a calendar and NEWS & MEDIA.
SILK is the line that carries the label's name. Its list opens with ふたりのベッド, which the home page dates September 16, 2026 under a tagline about making women's love lives richer, and it includes a numbered series whose listed entry is marked "13 th season". COCOON titles have short, quiet names, each followed by the name of the man it features, and the list is paginated from 1 to 11. UNDRESS runs to numbered sequels, among them "Another side 5", which the home page dates November 5, 2026, and its list is also paginated from 1 to 11. The VR line is covered below.
Finding things works through the line pages, the ACTOR page and the calendar. The home page's WORKS strip shows recent titles from across the lines, each with a one-line tagline, a release date and a link to its detail page. Below it runs a strip of names in Latin script, among them Riku Mukai, Taichi Hayashi and Kento Hoshi, with a link to the full list. The Q&A index has its own heading for the EROMEN, with one entry on where to find their profiles and one on where to send them letters and presents.
The calendar sorts its entries into release information, event days, birthdays, TV appearances, magazine features and other items. On the home page it shows a 配信先行作品 release date on October 14, 2026, a SILK JAM vol.6 event date on October 17, 2026, and another 配信先行作品 release date on November 4, 2026. The term means a title released first through digital distribution. The calendar entry for October 14 gives the weekday and that label only, with no title, store or delivery route attached.
A SILK CHANNEL video strip on the home page is marked 不定期更新, updated irregularly. The clip featured there is a 2026 teaser for a single EROMEN, and a link leads to the other videos.
The label also runs live events. Notices record SILK CARNIVAL vol.3 and vol.4 in 2022, and the calendar carries SILK JAM vol.6. The shop terms give event tickets a chapter of their own. When applications exceed the tickets available, they are allocated by a fair lottery, and tickets are not sold first come, first served unless a notice says otherwise. An application cannot, in principle, be canceled or changed afterward. Several applications from one address can be voided, family and housemates excepted, and so can an application made in order to resell. A ticket that turns up on an internet auction, in a ticket shop or at above its face price is void, staff may ask for identification at the door, and recording or photography inside the venue is banned. The ticket price is not refunded for any reason.
There is a GOODS section as well. The NEWS & MEDIA column lists press coverage from 2020, including the weekly magazine 週刊女性 and a program on KBC Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting, and the latest notice, dated October 28, 2024, announces a change of contact email address.
The VR line
The VR page lists the label's 3D VR titles, and the home page introduces one of them with the line “彼女”になって3DVRを体験してみよう!, an invitation to try 3D VR in the role of the girlfriend. The titles on the list are romance scenarios: a close male friend who makes his move, a morning after, a jealous boyfriend, a first date at his house, a night with an admired boss. Each title credits one man from the same roster, and the list is paginated from 1 to 3. A VR title dated March 27, 2024 sits in the home page's WORKS strip. Beyond the words 3DVR, the site gives a headset owner no specification: resolution, supported headsets, apps and the choice between streaming and download are all left out.
Japan mechanics
The shop's governing text is titled SILK LABO通販ご利用規約, the SILK LABO mail-order terms of use. It defines the site as the PC and mobile internet sites the company operates, the goods as DVDs, download data and similar general products, and the service as everything else offered there, including a free mail magazine. The FAQ, product prices and other posted rules count as part of the terms, and the company may change any of them by publishing the change on the site, without asking customers first. All copyright, trademark and related rights in the service belong to the company or to the rightful holders. The company may hand all or part of its operations to a third party. Disputes go to the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. The terms were established on April 1 of Heisei 23 and revised on August 7 of the same year, which is the dating the page uses.
Language is the main barrier for a reader abroad: menus, titles, terms and notices are Japanese only. The Q&A index lists a question asking whether there is any service in languages other than Japanese, and a second asking where SILK LABO titles can be bought, but that page shows the questions without their answers.
The terms are explicit about one overseas point: delivery of physical goods, meaning everything other than download data, is limited to addresses inside Japan. For downloads there is no matching rule either way. Goods with a minimum viewing age can be bought only by customers who have reached it, and the shop may ask for proof of age, which the customer has to produce promptly.
Price, access and billing
No price appears on these pages, whether for a DVD, a download, a VR title, a ticket or goods, so there are no figures to quote. What the terms do give is the structure of buying.
Membership is free to register. It is open to individuals only, with one email address per member, and the shop can refuse or revoke a registration that contains false details. A member can withdraw at any time through the site's procedure, with one warning attached: a download that was bought and never once played may become unviewable after withdrawal.
The download license is narrow. The buyer receives a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to watch the title only on the single computer that first played or first downloaded it. The terms deal in purchases of individual items, and nothing in them sets up a plan, a renewal or a recurring charge.
For orders, the shop's confirmation email forms the sales contract. If the buyer's card company reports a failed authorization the contract lapses, a placed order cannot be canceled outside the defect cases, and the shop may cancel an order left unpaid for 2 weeks. Returns apply to goods other than downloads, for transit damage, defects or a wrong item, and the item has to reach the shop within 10 days of receipt for a return, an exchange or a rescinded contract.
Card payment and cash on delivery are the methods the delivery article names: those orders ship according to stock, while other orders ship once payment is confirmed. A buyer can request a delivery time, the shop chooses the carrier, and the shipping fee is set by the separate posted rules, as is the full list of payment methods. A customer paying by card is bound by the contract with the card company, and the shop takes no part in a dispute between the two. Bank transfer comes up only in the ticket chapter, as an example of proof of payment to keep until the event. No processor, statement descriptor or foreign-card policy is stated.
Who it suits
SILK LABO suits a reader who wants romance-led video made for a female audience with male performers, from a label with named product lines, a public release calendar and live events, and who reads Japanese comfortably. A VR owner who wants this angle has a dedicated list to browse. The caveats are practical ones: Japanese-only pages, terms that set out how buying works without a single price beside them, an unstated position on mosaic, and physical shipping that stays inside Japan.
